I arrived in Japan at the beginnig of Spring. At the time cherry blossoms bloomed everywhere. The Himeji Castle is one of the popular places to go ohanami (blossom viewing). Like many Japanese, we had our share of picnic (okonomiyaki) under the cherry blossoms. |
