1995 Hanshin Earthquake

Here I have scanned some postcards of the Hanshin earthquake that hit Kobe in 1995. You can still see some cracks around some places, but at others, you don't even suspect that an earthquake hit because of all the reconstruction that's taken place!

Memory of Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake.
At 5.46, on the morning of January 17th 1995, the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake caused this marina to collapse, and at that point, the clock was damaged. This clock now indicates that time as an eternal reminder of the earthquake.
